Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This page explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on vinqi.com, including the English pages under /en/. It describes our policy only — this page does not set cookies itself, and no consent banner is shown inside it.
The short version: we use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to make the site work, analytics cookies only if the operator enables Google Analytics 4, and advertising cookies set by Google AdSense and its partners. Where consent is required, optional cookies are used only after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and software development kits. They can be first-party (set by the site you are visiting) or third-party (set by another domain, such as an advertising partner). Some are essential for a site to work; others are optional.
Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Who sets it | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Vinqi (first party) | Keep a session working, remember your cookie or consent choice, protect against abuse and fraud, and balance traffic. | Not required — the site cannot work safely without these. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4, if enabled | Measure aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and similar — so we can improve the site. | Required where the law requires it. GA4 is only loaded if the operator enables it. |
| Advertising | Google AdSense and its advertising partners | Serve, cap, and measure ads and, where you consent, personalise them. This includes the DoubleClick/Google advertising cookie and similar identifiers. | Required where the law requires it. You can withdraw at any time. |
Advertising cookies in more detail
Vinqi shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- remember that you have already seen a particular ad, and limit how often you see it;
- measure how ads perform;
- show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, where you have consented to personalised advertising.
One of the main Google advertising cookies is commonly known as IDE, the DoubleClick/Google advertising cookie. You can read more in Google’s own privacy and cookie documentation and in the Privacy Policy.
How to withdraw or change consent
- Use the consent banner or preference centre shown on the site, where one is available for your region, to change or withdraw your choices at any time.
- Withdrawing consent stops future optional cookies. It does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
- To opt out of personalised advertising from Google, use Google Ads Settings. In the United States you can use aboutads.info; in the EU and UK, youronlinechoices.eu. Links are below.
Personalised advertising controls
- Google Ads Settings — adssettings.google.com: manage or turn off personalised ads from Google.
- aboutads.info — aboutads.info/choices: opt out of interest-based advertising from participating US companies.
- youronlinechoices.eu — youronlinechoices.eu: opt out of interest-based advertising in the EU and UK.
Opting out of personalised advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads. You may still see non-personalised ads.
EEA and UK visitors
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the operator intends to use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that works with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are used, together with any limited non-personalised advertising that is permitted without consent. You can change your choice later through the same consent interface.
Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Optional cookies are controlled by the consent choices above and by your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
